About Us

MVP Wellbeing was founded to bring positive change to the lives of More Vulnerable People.

A volunteer owned and volunteer run social enterprise.

Our job is to empower elders in care, persons with disability, and their carers, to exercise their right to wellbeing.

We exist to protect and promote each individual’s humanity and the will to live!


WHAT WE CREATE THROUGH OUR WORK-

  • A culture of Positive Care. Increased connections through group singing, storytelling, drumming and movement.

  • Streamlined opportunities for people of all ages and abilities to Volunteer for Wellbeing.

  • Awareness, understanding and communication about “What’s Important?” to those receiving care.

  • Enduring feelings of Purpose, Meaning and Happiness to be alive!

Whilst we primarily operate out of Melbourne, as of July 2023, MVP Wellbeing are also facilitating the Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme in Central Australia- Alice Springs and surrounds.

OUR innovative model

  • Our services are all underpinned by The HELP Model for Supporting Wellbeing.

  • Initiatives contained within this model have won 5 Better Practice Awards from the Australian Government- Australian Aged Care Quality Agency.

  • We work to increase awareness of and share these Win:Win innovations and approaches with all who work to support wellbeing.
